- Festus Adebayo, an award-winning leading housing advocate in Africa, lawyer, and media entrepreneur, is the founder of the first specialized television station for the housing industry in Africa – Housing TV Africa, which airs on channel 149 on Startimes.
Festus Adebayo is the Founder of the Africa International Housing Show – the largest housing exhibition and conferences platform in Africa and the most attended and organized global housing event around the world.
He is the brain behind Fesadeb Communications Ltd – the promoters of the first TV program on housing development syndicated on Nigeria’s national television channels – AIT, TVC, NTA.
Adebayo is also the founder of the first civil society/NGO – Housing Development Advocacy Network, which has been engaging the government on various reforms for favorable real estate investment in Nigeria.
He is Nigeria’s foremost advocate of affordable housing and has, through his programs, successfully raised advocacy for affordable housing to an enviable height.
He is a fellow (Honorary) of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners and has been honored by many professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Nigeria Institute of Building, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and two international NGOs for his unparalleled contributions to housing development in Nigeria.
Adebayo has been a member of the Federal Government committee on bricks and mortar and is also a member of the Federal Government committee on institutional reforms for housing development.
